• How do I obtain my HooSaves Rx discount card?

  • You can download it here. 

• What does HooSavesRx cost?

  • HooSavesRx is free and we do not require credit card details from our users. Members will need to pay for their prescriptions at the pharmacy.

• Who can use this card?

  • All US residents are eligible to get pharmacy discounts through this program. Unlike insurance programs, there are no enrollment forms, no age or income requirements, no waiting periods, no eligibility required, no exclusions, no claim forms to file, no annual or lifetime limits.

• Can anyone in my family use HooSaves Rx?

  • Due to HIPAA privacy standards, we require that anyone 18 years of age or older obtain their own member account.

• Can the same card be used for multiple medications?

  • Yes, HooSavesRx cards can be used for multiple medications.

• Does my card expire?

  • No, your card does not expire.

• Is HooSavesRx insurance?

  • No, HooSavesRx is not insurance. Our goal is to help everyone get the medications they need at the prices they can afford. Some HooSavesRx prices may be cheaper than a copay.

• Will my information be collected or sold?

  • HooSavesRx protects the privacy of all members and does not share your information with any third parties. HooSavesRx also maintains the highest security standards.

• Is my pharmacy in the HooSavesRx network?

  • HooSavesRx can be used at over 60,000 pharmacies nationwide! Check to see if yours is in network here.

• Can the card be used for both name brand and generic medications?

  • HooSavesRx can be used on both brand and generic medications. Bring your card to your pharmacy counter for more information. ​

• Can I use HooSaves Rx if I have Medicare? 
  • This discount card can be used as a Medicare Part D supplement by covering drugs once participants reach the "donut hole," however, drugs purchased with this discount program will not count toward your Medicare deductible and therefore will not allow you to exceed your deductible and get out of the "donut hole." We suggest contacting your plan administrator to get the specifics as not all plans are the same.

• What if my pharmacist does not know how to use the card?

  • If your pharmacist is not familiar with our prescription drug discounts, please have them call 1-866-921-7286, toll-free. Every print-out and card has this customer service number on it. Our pharmacist helpline is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and will assist your pharmacist with the transaction.

• Do I need to be a US resident to use HooSavesRx? 

  • While HooSaves Rx can only be used in US-based pharmacies, you do not need to be a resident to take advantage of our discounts. ​
